Principles and Values

This blog is initiated with the intention to articulate the journey I am about to embark on. I will provide you with some insights into my unique personal journey. This will include my love for my children, poetry, people, and life. All while exploring my resistantly rebellious personal revolution.

Listed below are six primary values/principles, that I do my best to live by and maintain:

My life journey includes a tumultuous childhood wrought with drugs, alcohol, violence, homelessness, gangs, and violent extremism. The young life was a horrible experience, but has shaped me into the courageous, loving, and brave man that I am today. This will be shared with you.

You will get a look at my life, personality, and aspirations by reading this blog. I look forward to your participation in my journey and building a unique relationship with you, my friend. Anybody at anytime is free to contact me and share in nature of reciprocation. For those in opposition and attacking of my location in life; I encourage you to self reflect and ask why it is my blog, my experience, and why my position brings you to feeling what you are feeling.

If there is a meaning, purpose, and goal of this blog it is to incite the potential resilience that we humans have: adaptability for true transformation in life.

As Ghandi said (paraphrased): Become the change you want to see in the world.

Daniel is a social worker (MSW,RSW) and is a current student of law, who is also an emerging writer and has been published internationally in literary journals. Poetry is his primary creative processing tool, and also has published creative non-fiction (auto-biographic). He has a B.A. in First Nations Studies.
